George A. Akerlof (1940- )
Awarded the Prize “for his analyses of markets with asymmetric information.”George A. Akerlof is an American economist born on June.17th 1940 at New Haven, Connecticut, USA. He graduated from Yale University in 1962 gained his PhD of MIT in 1966. Currently, he is the professor of economy University of California Berkeley.
