Eric S. Maskin (1950- )

Awarded the Prize “for having laid the foundations of mechanism design theory.”

Eric S. Maskin is an American Economist. He was born on 12 December 1950 in New York USA. He received his Master PhD in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University in 1974 1976. He was the Professor of Economy in MIT Harvard University. He is currently the Professor in the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton.
