Elinor Ostrom (1933-2012)

Awarded the Prize “for her analysis of economic governance, especially the commons.”

American Political Scientist. Elinor was born on 7 August 1933 in USA. She graduated from the University of California at LA in 1965 with her PhD in Political Science. She was the Professor at Indiana University, Member of the National Academy of Sciences, American Academy of Arts Sciences. Elinor died on June 6, 2012 in USA.
