Peter A. Diamond (1940- )
Awarded the Prize “for analysis of markets with search frictions.”Peter A. Diamond is an American Economist. He was born on 29 April 1940 in USA. Diamond earned a bachelors degree in mathematics from Yale University in 1960 received a Ph.D. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1963. He served as President of the American Economic Association is currently Professor of MIT.
