Lloyd S. Shapley (1923-2016)

Awarded the Prize “for the theory of stable allocations the practice of market design.”

American mathematician and economist. Mr. Shapley was born in Cambridge of MT, America on June 2, 1923. He received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1951. He was the honorable professor of University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Shapley died on March 12, 2016 in Tucson, USA.
