Sir Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul (1932-2018)

Awarded the Prize “for having united perceptive narrative incorruptible scrutiny in works that compel us to see the presence of suppressed histories.”

V. S. Naipaul was an English writer who was born on 17 August 1932 in Chaguanas Trinidad. He received his Bachelor degree from Oxford University in 1953 settled down in USA since 1955. Naipaul died on August 11, 2018 in London.
