Mo Yan (1955- )

Awarded the Prize “for who with hallucinatory realism merges folk tales, history the contemporary.”

Chinese writer. Mr. Mo was born in Gaomi of Shong Province, China on February 17, 1955. He graduated from People’s Liberation Army Art Academy with major in literature in 1986. And he received his in literature from Luxun literature school from Beijing Normal University in 1991. Currently, he is the vice chairman of Chinese Writers’ association Chief of Chinese National Academy of Arts.
