Sir Peter Mansfield (1933-2017)

British Physicist. Sir Peter Mansfield was born on 9 October 1933 in London, UK. He graduated from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1959 with Bachelor of Science. then in 1962 he obtained his PhD in Physics from University of London. He was a member of the Royal Society and a professor at the University of Nottingham. Sir Peter Mansfield died on 8 February 2017 in Nottingham, England.
