Jack W. Szostak (1952- )
Awarded the Prize “for the discovery of how chromosomes are protected by telomeres the enzyme telomerase.”Jack W. Szostak is an American biologist who was born on 9 November 1952 in London, Engl. He used to study in University of Mcgill in Montreal received his PhD of Biochemistry from Cornell University in 1977. He was a professor of Genetics at Marvard Medical School currently a professor of genetics at Massachusetts General Hospital.
