Ralph M. Steinman (1943-2011)

Awarded the Prize “for the discoveries concerning the activation of innate immunity.”

Canadian immunologist cyto-biologist. Mr. Steinman was born in Montreal of Canada on January 14, 1943. He received his Ph.D. in medicine from Harvard University in 1968. He used to be professor of Rockefeller University academician of American National Science Academy. He passed away on September 30, 2011 in New York of America.
