Kurt Wüthrich (1938- )

Awarded the "for his development of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy for determining the three-dimensional structure of biological macromolecules in solution".

Kurt is a Swiss Chemist, born on October 4, 1938, in Aarberg, Swizerl. He was awarded Ph.D. of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Basel in 1964. He currently maintains a laboratory both at the ETH Zürich at The Scripps Research Institute, in La Jolla, California.
