Peter Agre (1949- )

Awarded the Prize “for his discovery of aquaporins.”

Peter is a molecular biologist who was born on 30th of January 1949 in Northfield, Minnesota USA. He received his M.D. in 1974 from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryl. He is now the Biochemistry Professor Medical Professor of the Johns Hopkins University.
