Ei-ichi Negishi (1935-2021)

Awarded the Prize “for the work in palladium-catalyzed coupling reactions in organic synthesis.”

Ei-ichi Negishi was a Japanese Chemist. He was born on 15 July 1934 in Changchun, China. He received his Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania in 1963. He was the Professor at Purdue University, USA. Ei-ichi Negishi died on June 6, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN, USA.
