Akira Suzuki (1930- )

Awarded the Prize “for palladium-catalyzed cross couplings in organic synthesis.”

Akira Suzuki is a Japanese Chemist. He was born on 12 September 1930 in Mukawa, Hokkaido, Japan. He graduated from Hokkaido University with Ph.D. of Physics in 1959. He used to be the Professor of the same university remains the Honorable Professor after retirement.
