
David M. Lee (1931- )
Awarded the Prize “for his discovery of superfluidity in helium-3.”American physicist. Lee was born in Rye, New York on January 20, 1931. He graduated from Harvard University in 1952, got his Master of Science from the University of Connecticut. In 1959, he received his Ph.D. in Yale University then joined the Cornell University faculty. He has been the member of the National Academy of Science the American Academy of Arts Sciences.
