Adam G. Riess (1969- )

Awarded the Prize “for the discovery of the accelerating expansion of the Universe through observations of distant supernovae.”

American astrophysicist. Mr. Riess was born in Minnesota of America on December 16, 1969. He received his Ph.D. in Harvard University of America in 1996. Currently, he is professor of The John Hopkins University Space Telescope Science Institute.
