Chemist. Born on February 9, 1965 in Amman, Jordan. Dr. Yaghi obtained his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA in 1990. He was elected a Member of the US National Academy of Sciences in 2019 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2022. Currently, he is a Professor at the University of California, USA.
