Physicist. Born in Paris, France in 1953. Dr. Devoret graduated from the école Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (ENST) in Paris in 1975 and obtained his PhD from the University of Paris-Sud (Paris XI) in France in 1982. Currently, he is the Director of the Applied Physics Nanofabrication Laboratory at Yale University and the Chief Quantum Hardware Scientist at Google Quantum AI.
