James Robinson（1960-）
Awarded the prize “for studies of how institutions are formed and affect prosperity”.
Economist, political scientist, and expert on African and Latin American issues. Born in 1960, Dr. Robinson holds dual citizenship in the UK and the USA. Currently, he is a professor at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and Director of the Pearson Institute for the Study and Resolution of Global Conflicts.
