Swedish biologist and expert in evolutionary genetics. Born on April 20, 1955 in Stockholm, Sweden. Dr. Pääbo received his PhD from Uppsala University in 1986. He is the former director of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, Germany.
