Japanese immunologist. Born on January 27th, 1942 in Kyoto, Japan. Dr. Tasuku Honjo earned his Ph.D. degree in Medical Chemistry in Kyoto University. Dr. Honjo was President of Shizuoka Prefecture Public University Corporation from 2012 to 2017 and currently, he is the special professor of Kyoto University.
