Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919)

Roosevelt was born on October 27, 1858, New York City. He graduated from Harvard College. Then he was elected to the Assembly of New York State. He held many official posts such as a member of the Civil Service Commission, Director of the Police Department of New York City, Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Governor of the state of New York, Vice-President President of the United States. Roosevelt died on January 6, 1919 in New York City.
