
Thomas Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924)
Awarded the Prize “for his advocacy of establishment of the League of Nations trying genuinely to start peace conversation.”American politician. Wilson was born on December 28, 1856 at Staunton, Virginia. He received a baccalaureate degree in 1879 at Princeton University. After graduating from the Law School of the University of Virginia, he practiced law for a year in Atlanta, then he entered Johns Hopkins University in 1883 received the doctorate in 1886. He taught at Bryn Mawr College at Wesleyan College, from 1902 to 1910, he was president of Princeton University. In 1912 he won the 28th presidential election in the United States. Wilson died on February 3, 1924 in Washington D.C.
