Awarded the Prize “for its fulfilling the condition of Nobel’s will, the promotion of brotherhood among the nations.”UNICEF was founded in 1946 with the headquarters in New York. It is mated by the United Nations General Assembly to advocate for the protection of children’s rights, to help meet their basic needs to exp their opportunities to reach their full potential. It mobilizes political will material resources to help ries, particularly developing ries, ensure a “first call for children” to build their capacity to form appropriate policies deliver services for children their families. It aims, through its ry programmes, to promote the equal rights of women girls to support their full participation in the political, social economic development of their communities.
