Albert Arnold (Al) Gore Jr. (1948- )
Awarded the Prize “for the efforts to build up disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to eract such change.”Gore is an Environmental Activist. He was born on 31 March 1948 in Washington D.C., USA. Gore graduated from Harvard University in 1969. He was previously representing Tennessee in the U.S House of Representatives, later in the U.S, Senate, finally became the 45th Vice President of USA (1993-2001).
