2005-Nobel Prize in Science Museum
In 2005, consigned by Sichuan Science Museum, Shanghai Qinghe Cultural Communication Co. Ltd. restart to collect inscriptions and signed photos from alive Nobel Laureates in the theme of Nobel Prize and his or her research area. Meanwhile, the project of setting up a Nobel Prize Museum started. The project was supported by hundreds of Nobel Laureates. Mr. Tsung-Dao Lee, 1957 Nobel Physics Laureate happily wrote an inscription for the project -To learn something, you should learn to ask instead of learning the answer only. Because of various reasons, the project later was pending.
On November 2, 2006, Sichuan Science Museum was open to public officially. The exhibition on writings and paintings from academicians from Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering was held successfully together with another exhibition on “Science and Art”.
The collection of Online-Nobel Prize Museum is based on collected inscriptions and signed photos from Nobel Laureates for Nobel Prize Museum Project and also on our continuous collecting and auction.
